men who stood ready to do the Lord’s will everywhere, and who selected their positions in the Church not in view of any personal and worldy advantage, but in view of the judgment-seat of Christ. To that tribunal we are pointed by the word which is translated “condemnation.” We all “stand before the judgment-seat of Christ” (Rom. 14:10).
